AP Tonya Adair, Administration

Ms. Adair has a BS in Education-Grambling State University of Louisiana and a MA in Education Administration & Leadership from Wisconsin's Alverno College. She has served as a teacher for Ouachita Parish Schools -LA and Milwaukee Public Schools moving through the ranks as a teacher leader, learning coordinator, middle and high school curriculum administrator and assistant principal. She has received several awards and recognitions as an educator including the Top Ladies of Distinction 2006 - "Women on The Move" -Outstanding Educator Honoree, National Educator''s Honor Roll Recognition-Outstanding American Teachers Award, etc. In the music community she serves as a psalmist for Christ Tabernacle Ministries, & other community arenas such as MMABSE Milwaukee Metropolitan Alliance of Black School Educators, other MPS functions, community plays, weddings, etc. She is a member of several organizations & boards, utilizing her writing abilities to write proposals and charters. Ms. Adair is excited about serving and using her God-given talents & skills to enhance the educational experiences for MHSA students.
