Steven Koehler, Science, Theatre

A.P. Physics, Physics 1, Physics Concepts. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from U.W.-Madison and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from U.W.-Milwaukee''''s Professional Theatre Training Program. He is licensed to teach Broad Field Science (WI DPI #601), Physics (WI DPI #625) and Theatre (WI DPI #325). He has been teaching at MHSA since 1993, first as a long-term substitute, and currently as a contracted teacher. His Socratic approach to teaching is aimed at drawing out knowledge from his students rather than providing knowledge to his students. Demonstrations abound and all pre-conceived assumptions (whether they belong to the students or the teacher!) are challenged.
