Academics
Students at MHSA must enroll in six courses each semester. All are encouraged to work at their individual ability level: Advanced Placement courses are available in the areas of Studio Art, Art History, Biology, English, U.S. History, Physics, Chemistry, and American Government. Honor/Accelerated courses are available in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Visual Art. Foreign Language is offered in Spanish. The Physical Education Department's program includes Lifetime Sports and Dance.
