Mission
The mission of the Milwaukee High School of the Arts Dance Department is to provide all dance students with a comprehensive study of dance as an art form and a profession.
Curriculum
■ Beginning to advanced study in modern, ballet, and jazz dance.
■ Workshops in tap, ethnic, musical theater, aerobics, composition, and improvisation.
■ Academic dance areas covered include anatomy, nutrition, injury prevention and treatment , dance history, and writing for the professional dancer.
