The Catch a Rising Star foundation (CARS) is a 501(c)(3) public charity with the mission to support, sustain and grow Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA) as an urban, public high school offering arts-based education and curricula, and to support arts-based education programs and curricula in the City of Milwaukee public school system. We are an all-volunteer organization. We coordinate with the MHSA School Governance Council and the MHSA PTSO on an on-going basis throughout the year. Contributions to CARS are tax-deductable.
